Come Out Laughing started in 2008 when Jason Dudey decided to start a gay, gay-friendly, who-cares-who-you-are-or-who’s-in-your-bed comedy tour.  Jason joined forces with the hysterical Erin Foley who loved the concept of Come Out Laughing, a comedy show where the comedians could be gay or straight, as long as they were hilarious.

Come Out Laughing is now a regular, monthly show at the world famous Laugh Factory Comedy Club in Long Beach, California.  Performing alongside Jason and Erin each month are some of the hottest comics in the country, with countless appearances on Showtime, Comedy Central and HBO.

The show’s rave reviews have fueled a nationwide tour, with sold-out stops at local clubs and theaters across the country.

Kathryn hails from the great state of Wisconsin, and started piano lessons at the age of five. She continued long enough to receive a Master’s degree from USC. It was the latter that lead her to meet Amy, whom she saw performing at Second City in the summer of 2006.

God-des & She have always been unique – a female hip-hop/soul duo whose sound varies as widely as their subject matter. With their third album, appropriately titled Three, God-Des (the rapper) and She (the singer) now embark on a journey to cross over from substantial underground success to the mainstream. In making that transition, the group has managed to both hone their existing sound and expand into an eclectic mash-up of other styles, including hyperactive dance music (“Drum Circle”), all-American rock (“Change”), anthemic electro (“Radio Up”), and feel-good, windows-down pop (“Get Your Bike”).

While delving into so many genres on one album could easily sound disjointed, a confident identity forged over years of working together, as well as sure-handed production from Hardgroove resulted in a cohesive, dynamic set of songs. “So many of our fans comment on how much we grow every time they see us live or hear the next song we are working on. Our first two records were great in their own ways, but we hadn’t truly found our voices or sound. Three cannot be compared to any other artist. It sounds totally unique and crosses all boundaries and is hard to even put into a style of music.”

God-des & She found an ideal partner in producer and current member, bandleader, and bass player of Public Enemy, Brian Hardgroove, who has worked with such veteran acts as Wu Tang, Burning Spear, and Aerosmith, and also plays with Bootsy Collins. “He gave us a lot of freedom but guided us and made the songs better. He has an incredible ear and totally understood and supported our vision for the music. He didn’t try to box us in to one genre.” While the duo may have initially been star struck in working with Hardgroove, the legendary producer was impressed as well. “They are easily as good as the best that hip-hop has to offer,” Hardgroove says of the duo, “and far more interesting.”

Bred in the Midwest, God-Des & She have played to packed venues all over the world, from Lacrosse, Wisconsin, to Stockholm, Sweden. Ever since they appeared on Showtime’s The L Word four years ago, performing their infamous single “Lick It,” the pair haven’t had a moment’s rest, selling over 30,000 albums, and holding down the #1 song spot on MTV LOGO with their song “Love You Better.” God-Des & She’s new album, Three, will be available December 3rd via G&S Records.

Jennie has traveled the world doing comedy – literally.  In addition to headlining in comedy clubs all over the US and Canada, she has entertained the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. She also does comedy in more peaceful settings, including entertaining the ladies on Olivia Cruises and at the iconic Dinah Shore Weekend event in Palm Springs. She has performed at The Toronto Gay and Lesbian Comedy Festival and countless Pride events coast to coast. She has also become a favorite summer performer at regular gigs in Provincetown, where she enjoys engaging the crowd through frequent and hilarious improvisation, and at Harrah’s Casino in Las Vegas. And now, Suzanne takes it to the road one more time with her upcoming tour, most appropriately named, “Totally Inappropriate.” This new show will continue Suzanne’s tradition of working mostly unscripted, so when she hits the stage it’s an unpredictable, original night of comedy magic. Every night on the tour will feature new material inspired by her experiences in that city, some of which are created on the spot. “The audience and I participate in the creation of each night’s show,” she says, an interactive approach that makes her shows unique in the world of live comedy.

While she says she can’t promise dancing girls or magic tricks on her new tour, she does guarantee an hour and a half of “the same brilliant stand up comedy that I’ve been pumping out for 19 years.”  And, she adds, “Each show on the tour will have its own version of inappropriateness, so you’ll need to come to a show and find out for yourself.” Upcoming stops on the “Totally Inappropriate” tour include shows in Ft Lauderdale, Denver, Alexandria, Va., Santa Ana, Ca., and Ft Worth, Tx.

Suzanne says the inspiration for her new show came from a joke between her and her girlfriend of six years, Jennifer. “We were each raised very differently,” Suzanne says, “And ever since we’ve been together she’s been shocked, horrified, and aghast at the things I’ll say. This includes everyday things like asking people about their sexuality in the bank line. She tells me I don’t have appropriate boundaries, so it’s become a huge running joke between us. “ Suzanne hopes that “Totally Inappropriate” can progress from a stage show to something that eventually she can get down on paper, like a book, or perhaps, she says, “a comedy brochure.”

After entering the world of comedy on a dare, Suzanne has been delivering gay material in mainstream clubs to straight audiences and proudly performing within the LGBT community ever since. She became the first openly lesbian comic ever to appear on television in 1991 on an episode of Sally Jesse Raphael entitled “Breaking the Lesbian Stereotype…Lesbians Who Don’t Look Like Lesbians.” She went on to become the first openly gay comic to host her own HBO Comedy Special in 1994, which earned her a Cable Ace Award nomination. Other television appearances include The Late Show with David Letterman, GSN’s remake of the classic game show, “I’ve Got a Secret” as well as HBO, Bravo and LOGO TV specials. Now beginning her 20th year of side-splitting merriment, she continues to forge new ground while enjoying her well-earned reputation as a pioneer on the lesbian comedy scene.

Suzanne’s recent tour, “Finally legal… in a few states,” entertained audiences across the country, and was a headlining act on Sweet’s recent Caribbean cruise. Her latest venture, a starring role in the popular online web drama “We Have To Stop Now” is about to enter its second season, with the first soon available on DVD. Other recent shows of note include the GLAMA award-winning “A Bottom on Top,” and appearances on HBO, Bravo and LOGO TV.
