Cause+Effect

For anyone in the public eye, personal style is a critical asset.  Cause+Effect helps our clients sharpen their look, refine their style, and project a public image worthy of their accomplishments.

• Initial Consultation
  In this initial phase, we evaluate each client’s personality and lifestyle, their image goals and challenges and a set of style icons to help set each client’s individual style goals. Using all of this information, we then develop an individually-tailored plan to help address each client’s unique goals and challenges. As part of this process, we conduct a wardrobe and brand review, and select key pieces to use as the foundation for each client’s style development.
  This process takes approximately one hour.

• Closet Audit
  During this session, we will review every item in our client’s wardrobe and assess both fit and function, all with their updated style in mind. We weed out “sentimental” pieces, but we never force anyone to get rid of items they are truly attached to. At the end of the process, our clients have a closet full of wearable pieces organized by color, season, and occasion.
  This process takes approximately one to four hours.

• Personal Shopping
  Our clients don’t have time to go from shop to shop looking through the racks for the right items in the right size. We pre-shop for them and then guide them through a painless shopping experience. During a personal shopping session, C+E clients receive one-on-one attention, as well as a suite of helpful shopping shortcuts to make it easier for them to select flattering colors, styles and fits on their own. After the in-person shopping session, we continue to shop for additional items in stores and on the web, and we show our client how to use their new items to enhance their wardrobe and look.
  This service includes one round of exchanges/returns, and takes approximately four hours.

• Outfitting
  Having new clothing doesn’t help if you don’t know how to make outfits out of them. During this session, we lay out both old and new pieces to show our clients how to make easy and exciting ensembles. Each client receives a wardrobe chart that includes a record of their newly created outfits.
  This process takes approximately two hours.

Phase 2: C+E Personal Care

• Hair and Makeup Consultation
  During the hair and makeup consultation, we help assess individual grooming goals and challenges. In addition, we can help identify trusted hair colorists and stylists, make up artists and eyebrow experts who help our clients achieve the look they want.
  This process takes approximately one to four hours.

• Eyeglass Selection
  Selecting eyeglasses can be daunting. C+E can helps our clients select frames that are flattering and stylish, while reflecting their personality and enhancing their image.
  This process takes approximately one hour.

• Fragrance Selection
  Fragrances actually have chemical reactions with the oils on your skin. That is why some fragrances smell amazing on some people, but not on others. C+E helps our clients select a fragrance that works best with their unique chemistry and lifestyle.
  This process takes approximately one hour.

Phase 3: C+E Style Management

• Special Occasion Shopping
  Our clients often find themselves at multiple high-profile events throughout the year where they will be on stage, under lights, and in front of countless photographers.  While our goal is to help our clients look their best everyday, we understand that some days count more than others. C+E will work with each client to help them find the perfect look for those key events.
  This is an ongoing process.

• Wardrobe Update
  Once C+E has shopped with a client, we can provide seasonal clothing updates through the mail or delivered to a desired location. C+E also helps each client incorporate these new pieces into their existing wardrobe to maximize the long-term value of each piece in their wardrobe.

• Wardrobe Amenities
  We help direct our clients to good tailors, cobblers, lingerie experts, leather cleaners and other professionals to help keep new purchases looking and feeling their best.
